This was the subject of my masters thesis. I spent a year and a half conducting research on this topic and have uncovered some amazing facts and information. Some of the data and numbers are quite staggering. Lavish pay packages, perks and "golden parachutes" have existed in less than profitable corporations in some cases.As investors were losing money, the corporate executives were collecting millions.

Is there, or has there been determined what a fair "rate of pay" would be for some of these global CEO's?
Although we are all in awe at the amount of money these people receive in annual pay and incentives, isn't it all relative? Run a company that generates revenue of 500 billion dollars and receive 30 million a year? Seems like a drop in the bucket - no?
Have you broken down company revenues and percent of annual salary?
